Thanks to its small size and anatomic shape, this instrument is easy and practical to use.
The function keys and the guide messages on the alphanumeric display provide a simple user-instrument interface so learning to use it takes only a short time.

As well as allowing professional timing of all sports competitions, thorough testing in the field has shown Racetime2 to be the ideal instrument to fully satisfy needs in preparing for competitive sport (training, materials testing, etc.).

Simplicity of use: Simplicity of use is such that a single athlete can time a training session completely automatically. All times are taken, stored and printed without any kind of manual intervention.
The wide range of software programs available, the possibility of immediately printing the start lists and the rankings at the finish (on the detachable printer) and the possibility of interfacing with PC and displayboards, allow professional use of the device in every sporting discipline.

Keyboard: Its 4 function keys and other dedicated keys (line disablement, arrow keys, etc.) ensure that the machine’s functions can be accessed with maximum speed. The ergonomic layout of the keys (spacing and positioning) and good touch sensitivity allow fast keying in.

Connection box for Racetime2 chronometer via cable:

The connection box for Racetime2 allows simple connection of a number of accessories to the Racetime2 chronometer. As well as the three main lines on both the Amphenol socket and on 4 mm jack plug sockets (start, lap, aux and stop), there are connectors for serial input/output and analogical inputs (climate sensors).

Wireless transmission of impulses:

In combination with the LinkGate system, Racetime2 is able to receive start, intermediate and finish impulses via radio with maximum reliability, freeing the operator from the need to be connected via cable with the photocell at the finish. But that is not all ... it is also possible to acquire 16 passing speeds via radio from the same number of timing areas, thus moving freely along the course.


The instrument’s reliability, even in extreme climatic conditions, is guaranteed by the wide temperature range feature and by ‘smart’ recharge management. At every moment, the display shows the various phases of the recharge process, guaranteeing correct operation. The embedded batteries guarantee continuous functioning of over 12 hours, even at low temperatures.
