SPI Elite
Highly Accurate GPS:-
GP Sports uses the latest in GPS receiver technology – we then add our proprietary technology to give a level of accuracy unparalleled with this technology.
The SPI Elite distance and speed results have been recently validated with less than 1% error in true outputs – making this product highly userfriendly, reliable and most importantly easy to use.
Easy to Use:-
GP Sports works closely with our clients and the result from many discussions is a one button solution. The client presses the device on and it starts logging once it picks up satellites. It continues to log unless the unit is either turned off or it runs out of power (7+ hours from full charge).
The unit is then placed in a cradle and can be downloaded simply to GP Sports analysis software, Team AMS. The cradle also doubles as a charger ensuring the unit is fully charged and ready for use next training session.
Triaxis Accelerometer:-
GP Sports was the first sports company to integrate GPS, Accelerometer and heart rate technologies into the once device.
The Accelerometer is used for several purposes, main ones being the measurement of body load (sum of all accelerations, decelerations, change of directions, impacts, etc)
and impacts in G-forces, indicating the physical stress placed upon an athlete in a contact environment such as a game or contact training session. Our Accelerometer will have greater functionality in the coming months.
Environmental Proof:-
The SPI Elite has been designed to withstand rigours of its intended use. It is highly impact resistant (required for the many sporting codes it is now being used in), it is rain and weather proof (used in extreme conditions such as skiing and mountain biking) and with a little modification is being used in several water sports (kayaking, canoeing, rowing and even surfing).
Beat by Beat Heart Rate:-
The SPI Elite records the heart rate every single beat and this is displayed as a beats per minute every second for the entire length of the session. GP Sports does not filter the output ensuring that the client is seeing what is really happening physiologically during any training session or competition. Future modifications include the addition of a digital signal resulting in a more robust transmission signal.
Team-AMS
This Product accompanies the powerful SPI Elite. This PC Based software package allows the user to download group sessions, split, rename, customise training loads and generate customised multiple reports for individual athletes as well as groups/squads.
The software is intuitive and through much feedback from key clients is simple to use and can generate reports in as little as 10 minutes after the completion of a training session.

1. Team focus, with group download /reporting & analysis.
2. Link to Google earth, Microsoft Excel & Adobe PDF for data exporting.
3. Detailed outputs from three axes of Accelerometer.
